Chrysler Airflows - CLASS 14 WINNER

Jay & Peggy Crist

1934 DeSoto Airflow SE

The Airflow was the first volume-produced, unit-construction, steel-bodied car. A scale
model of this style was tested in a wind tunnel owned by Wilbur Wright to achieve the best
aerodynamics for economy and handling. The Airflow was advertised as having 25 features
never used before, making it the most modern car of its day.
