Packard Post-War - CLASS 11B WINNER

1946 Packard Super Clipper
Presented by: Joe & Jan DeWitt

The all-new look for the 1946 Packard was designed by “Dutch” Darrin, a designer of
international reputation. The Clipper was not the last of the pre-war cars, it was the first of the
postwar cars. Packard dominated the industry with the most powerful engine until the 1951
Chrysler Hemi. The Super Clipper was the fastest American mass-produced car of its day with
a top speed of 110 mph.
