1923 Duesenberg A
Presented by John and Connie Bools– North Carolina

After WWI, the Duesenberg brothers aimed to produce the “Finest
Motorcar” ever. The Model A Duesenberg is the first production
car with hydraulic brakes and straight-8 engine. Bodies were
by custom manufacturers. This is the Sport Phaeton, which
included features such as the dual side-mount spare tires and dual
spotlights with mirrors. The bare chassis sold for $6,500.
