My first car was a 1960 MGA. It needed so much work before it was road ready my parents agreed that I could buy it when I was 15. I could never have imagined then where I am today. Seeing the most exotic cars ever built. I even see a MGA on the field now and then.
Automobiles are more than just transportation to me, I see them as an art form. As an artist I appreciate the design and appearance of the automobile. The attention to details never eases to amaze me. I get lost at times looking at some of the classics and imagining where the car has been and the people who have ridden in it.
I’ve always believed in giving back to the community. As a commercial photographer that meant volunteering my services to worthy non-profits and the arts. I moved to Lexington in 2009. It didn’t take long to learn of the Keeneland Concours; several college friends were already involved. I’m hooked! Great events, great people – all to help the Children’s Hospital. I’ve worked the last 7 years as the Director of Photography, this year I’ve accepted a different role – that of web manager.
