Dear Friends and Supporters of the Keeneland Concours d’Elegance,
We hope that you and all your loved ones are safe. We are all experiencing such emotions and are in uncharted territory as a result of the COVID-19 virus. It has been a difficult decision for the Executive Board to make, do we reschedule for a later date, or cancel the event until next year? We have consulted with Keeneland, UK Healthcare, friend, etc., trying to be prudent with our sources of information we could depend on. In order to protect the health of our participants, sponsors, entrants, volunteers, vendors, etc., we felt that the landscape through the summer is going to be unsettled. These factors, in addition to the safety of all involved, has led us to this decision.
The Board has made the difficult decision to cancel the event this year and regroup when hopefully, things will be close to normal for 2021. We will pick up in 2021 since 2020 has been interrupted.
We appreciate the hard work of the staff, the commitment of the volunteers, the enthusiasm of the car owners, and the many sponsors we are blessed to have.
We hope and pray for everyone’s safety though these uncertain times and appreciate your continued support for 2021.
Tom & Connie Jones
