Welcome from the Car Club Paddock. Our car paddock area is unique for concours events. Located adjacent to and a merely a few feet from the concours show field, it provides an outstanding location for visitors to park with their vehicles and enjoy the event. This parklike setting with lots of shade trees and numerous bench seating areas, has immediate walking access to the concours show field.
The Paddock area is available to vehicles ranging from Classics, to Sports, and other collectibles. While the paddock is divided into several designated areas by automotive marque, it is not necessary for an entrant to belong to a specific car club. For entrants not belonging to a club, there are parking areas for Cars of Special Interest. Also, for folks possibly interested in joining a club, visiting and possibly parking in a car club area is a great way to learn about the benefits of club membership.
In addition to the various club areas, the Paddock also often has displays such as Military vehicles, new technology (as solar), Track events, and the latest from automotive dealerships.
Another attraction for car folks at the Paddock is the annual Paddock Challenge. This is an event where the clubs compete by donating to our event charity, the Kentucky Children’s Hospital. There are two awards determined on Day of Show. The Paddock Trophy is awarded to the marque that receives the most dollars donated. The Paddock Plaque goes to the marque having the most dollars per vehicle. The club recognition is having the engraved trophy and plaque displayed for the following year at the Kentucky Children’s Hospital. This good natured (although spirited) competition between clubs has raised over $144,485 since it began in 2005.

NOTICE:
When parking in the Car Club Paddock, a hanging placard is purchased for $10 per car in addition to your entry ticket per person and displayed throughout the day. And as always, all proceeds go to our beneficiary, UK Healthcare Kentucky Children’s Hospital.
