My interest in cars began even before I could drive. I had neighbors with an Austin Healey, Plymouth Roadrunner, MG and 1957 Chevy Belair. I actually assisted in restoring the MG and Chevy Belair nights and weekends leading up to attaining my driver’s license.
I grew up in the American Muscle era and my entry into the class was a 1967 Dodge Dart. Such a light body with so much horsepower. This is also when I saw an ad in a popular “men’s magazine” on the Porsche 911. I was sixteen years old then and fortunately, purchased my first Porsche three years ago.
Being involved with the KCD organization has been a wonderful experience for me. I am making friends with the volunteers and car owners who share much in common. And I’m proud to offer my time and resource for such a wonderful cause.
